I did this with the morning music in Chrono Trigger and yeah any time since starting up a new game of it jumpscares me immediately at the start with it
i made the mistake of using a song from one of my games as a ringtone, you can imagine how disorienting that got after a while
Back in college, one of my best friends had Sin by NIN as his alarm, programmed to set the volume to 100% on his desktop first.
To this day it instantly wakes me up
I have a very specific relationship with Home Village Arni as wakeup music and a relationship. It's still nice.
I know the feeling, I use the gundam "newtype flash" sound effect as my phone notification sound, and whenever it keeps popping up in anime and games and making me check my phone.
