L.A. Story Review
After watching through a bunch of solidly decent 80s/90s comedies recently, I was shocked by how charming I found this. It hits a tremendous balance between clever jokes, flat absurdism, and a genuinely sweet romance. It's pervasively silly but still takes itself seriously enough to keep the viewer invested narratively and emotionally. Also, boundless respect and admiration for the subtitler who made sure to write "SanDeE*" every time.
