There are a lot of cool weapons in this thing. Don't worry about leveling up a new weapon just for the DLC, save your upgrade materials for stuff you find in there.

maybe enough for 6 or so weapons across all the places where you can find them (not counting farming), but the thing is that you want all of them everytime you get a new weapon you want to use, otherwise it would be not fully upgraded and it wouldn’t do any damage so you really need to buy them
also worth noting that the DLC generally has postgame amounts of rune rewards, so it's not that hard to buy up the normal smithing stones you need. it's the top-tier ones that are the real bottleneck
Thanks! And yup that’s what I was thinking. I’ve got all the bell bearings I can get from the base game up to Altus but that leaves 6+ stones as not buyable. I have sombers to take one or two weps up to +8 though and pretty much have not touched any of my normal stones though.
