accessibility in games is very important, and regrettably the original launch of Chico didn't have much (besides customizable controls). I am starting to rectify that in the upcoming Chico DX update, with a few options for reducing the challenge of various aspects of the game.

Tons of streamers, etc that I've seen had trouble with the "pit drag". I put it in to emulate the old GB Zelda games, but those didn't really have much platforming so it wasn't as big of an issue there. I still like it, but now you can turn it off.

Side-note, making an accessibility menu at GB resolutions was a nice UX puzzle to figure out where to put the text explaining wtf the settings do. I'm happy with the solution
