i think what he have is basically what we got to work with. i think it can get better but we all have to work together to do so. make a concerted effort to support projects you believe in, does good, works good, and isnt owned by google or whatever. stuff like that. look in your settings and sign up for cohost plus, for example
my other less serious but still kinda serious answer is "make a telnet BBS those things are a fantastic internet"
