My friend told me playing a video game right before bed helped with his nightmares and I tried it and it worked maybe it’ll work for you
I guess like feeling in control of something helps or something like that worth a shot lol!
mine were housefires! They used to be bad, I'd wake up every night terrified, running through the house trying to find the embers...
eventually i took up collecting insence. learning the ways to burn it and handle it, how it's been used historically, ect, and I'd watch some burn for a few minutes before bed, just watchijg the smoke. I'd put it out properly, put everything away, go bed. The nightmares slowly went away. The smoke in the dream started Smelling Good. It was insence now. In the dreams i knew where i kept the burner, so sleep me started just, putting out the incence when a nightmare started. Idk, it worked.
Sure wish i could have just gone to therapy instead tho! That'd've been ideal, yeah.
