yeah enabling notifications for mentions is on our list of work that needs to be done, we do want to implement it but without ruining everyone's feeds forever
definitely a feature I cannot tell if I actually want yet so I appreciate y'all being cautious to make sure you do it right
I have seen people just have a pinned post saying like "comment here if you need to get in touch with me" or something
