i feel so out of place on tumblr. did you know theyre still doing callout posts? i also just saw a grown adult identify as a "proshipper" in a reply to a post that wasnt really about that. i still feel like i dont fully know what the term means but everyone there is so deeply serious about fandom nonsense i feel like i should learn

#proshipper seems to mean you want certain blorbos to kiss #and youre in a war with people who dont want them to kiss #they send each other death threats about this

I think to a certain tumblr set "proshipper" is essentially a way of saying "anti-neopuritan" although I wouldn't swear to this

i don’t see this stuff anymore thank god. i literally never want to hear anybody talk about the morality of shipping ever again it is such an irrelevant issue to anybody who doesn’t spend way too much time on ao3

It’s more about your personal philosophical stance on the ethics of shipping specific pairings. Like if it’s unethical and harmful to ship to characters that are not a healthy relationship together or if there is an age gap.
