This is really fun, it sort of gives me the vibes of a boss stage in Jet Set Radio somehow.
ty!! i tend to love boss fight music so i'm happy it comes across like that
holy shit you popped off. idk if i've ever heard electro swing have such a, like, diminished sounding chord progression and oh my god it just works so well
omg tyyyy, rly happy you like it! i haven't really made much stuff like this before but it went better than expected for sure. idk if ive ever used a maj7#5 before but first half is mostly Dmaj7#5 shenanigans, second half is based around Dmaj#5 - Em7 - Cmaj7#11 - Bmaj7#11, i love the sound of maj7#11s so i use them quite a bit
naydra you're so crazy good at so many different sounds. absolutely love the harmony ideas in this!!
jesus I was NOT ready for the drum/bongo fill at 0:35, the whole thing slaps but that moment brought it home so hard
was worried that part would sound a bit out of place so i'm really happy you like it lol, ty!!
this is really awesome! hard driving beat, cool harmonies especially the augmented chords early on juxtaposed with the sax lick - that's really exciting to hear, i love that very brazen dissonant-but-also-not kinda realm. super cool
This is great! It is a such a cool mix of things don't seem like they should work together yet do incredibly well. Driving beat against the disorienting arpeggios. Then there is this incredibly hook-y horn part. Drum fills are great too.
thank you! i've never really been able to decide on a genre to focus on so stuff i make can end up sounding a bit eclectic, but it's fun when stuff still ends up working together
