Boog Sciambi is a fine play-by-play guy but i find him slightly irritating sometimes. he does this thing where he acts like advanced stats are this obscure bit of esoterica. he just referenced BABIP and said "if you know, you know". man that's just batting average, the most basic hitting metric, minus home runs. Moneyball was 20 years ago, people have heard about sabermetrics since then
