After Myst someone went and made Pyst as a full blown boxed-product video game you could buy. They even got John Goodman for it. But after the Witness nobody went and made a full-length video game called The Witless starring Stellan Skarsgård. There's no physical release boxed-CD The Witless I can buy. I think this is basically what's gone wrong with society.

Def not a regular one, but maybe someone made a steelbook or other collectible version? Those are still done for various indie games.
there was a flash parody of Passage that was just a recreation of Passage except your character falls over dead after like five seconds. and then it cuts to like an old-timey guy with a top hat and monocle going "NOW THIS IS ART" over the sound of applause
15+ years later I think this left a stronger impact in my memory than the original game did lmao
my proudest achievements as a game developer remain, to this day, QWOPassage (featuring a death grunt literally recorded in the toilet) and 2001: The Videogame
