just had my first real bowel movement since the crash. so relieved because if i went a couple more days without that it might've meant something very serious wrong with my guts they didn't find at the ER

I used to live in a co-op of like 25 med students (I was not a med student, it was a whole weird thing) but you would not believe how many of their stories around the dinner table revolved around Waiting for Someone To Poop. They'd get back from rotations and be like "guess what everyone!! my patient finally pooped today!" and everyone would cheer
This was the first post I saw after opening up cohost for the first time in a week (I was on vacation and mostly off socials) so that was a weird “good to hear nicky is ok but worrying to hear that nicky being ok was in doubt”
