lmao just days after posting about how i think CBT is a waste of time, i learned that the therapy referral i got was for a CBT specialist. even though i specifically asked for anything but that. awesome, i love how doctors never fucking listen to me. can't wait to waste an hour of my life today doing breathing exercises and being told how i just need to think better thoughts
CBT therapists love showing me breathing exercises. they can't get enough of the stuff. they'll go through the whole thing and i'm sitting there thinking "yeah i learned this when i was 11 on Day 1 of therapy. also i'm not currently having a panic attack so it's just pissing me off that we stopped the session to do this"
