lol Tef blocked me for pointing out in the comments of their monad post that it was factually quite inaccurate and therefore probably not written in good faith... i guess it was written in good faith and they didn't like the criticism? ^^"

(EDIT: this post was petty, and a bad idea; i'm gonna leave it up for transparency, but, yeah, let's just let this matter die quietly)

in reply to @nicuveo's post:

Jesus, what? It's a pretty bad post honestly but that's just petty.

Also, you probably can't see it anymore, but they wrote this under your comment:

i'm starting to suspect that you didn't write it in good faith.

It's one thing to have had your poetic license removed by surgery, but it's quite another to waltz up to a stranger and label them as bad faith.
Don't worry, I pushed the button that means you never have to engage with my posts again

God I hate people being confidently wrong

yeah, i mean, i get not wanting people to accuse you of talking in bad faith in the comments. i'm a proponent of "block early, block often" so, really, i get it, i find it amusing more than anything else.

but also, yeah, i did find it a bit petty (and frankly hilarious) that their answer to "hey there's a bunch of factually inaccurate stuff in there surely you can't be sincere?" was "that's poetic license and you have no sense of humour" :D

That's... a good question, actually. I guess it's just me being petty, here? They wrote something that's quite wrong about a topic that's important to me, i pointed it out in a clumsy manner, and i got a block out of it with a pretty mean-spirited comment to boot, and i feel a mix of amusement and disbelief about the whole thing. But, yeah, i guess posting this was just dragging it further instead of just letting the matter die quietly, and that was probably wrong of me come to think of it?
