Homemade strawberry jam on a toasted ciabatta
So both the cups and the plate here are the Noritake Damask 4288 Gold. I only have one of each and these are second hand since you can't buy them singular--I think they're probably discontinued. The only issue with these plates and cups is that you can't microwave them since they have metallic trims. Just treat it as silverware since it'll zap and explode.
The pattern here is probably one of the simpler ones in my collection, yet I'm very partial to them. It's clean, it's elegant, it matches most things I serve on them.
My partner doesn't like the plate in the first picture since she thinks it tacky. (the cup and saucer shown in the second photo is fine) Meanwhile she's using some ridiculous Typo mug that might as well say "Eat, Pray, Love" while staring me right in the face.
