it's my niece's 12th birthday party and she points out one of her friends who's a closeted transmasc; she told him about me and i was like a celebrity to him. she tells me he was ecstatic to see me in person.
i am being the 1 Trans Person Existing In This Small Shitty Area that would've healed some part of me when i was little. i want to . Burst into tears
even if you're a mess, even if you're unremarkable: if you're trans, you have to live. for moments like this. for people you don't know who need to see you and know that they too can exist.
