I really love this current Twitter trend going around where indie devs share their game + 3 other images from their inspirations, and since I don't have a WIP image yet for my next game, I thought I'd just share the 4.

None of these inspirations go very far (in that I'm not aping style or trying to achieve anything similar), but rather taking bits and pieces and moods I enjoy. SIGNALIS, because there's nothing more important than being gay love despite the horrors screaming at you to stop. Tetsuo...well, I'll let the game speak for itself on release, though it's best illustrated with this panel.

Script is done, and size-wise, it sits three times as large as The Good Weapon but we'll see how much it changes (and gets cut down) when the scenes get prototyped and put into production.

SADLY...I did look at some HTML learning courses, but the biggest thing that stopped me was the fact that a lot of my programmer friends mostly do C (++, #) and didn't seem to be able to help me much with html/css and I felt like I need as much programming help as I can get on any project 😩

Ah right, I just remembered one more thing. The ink games I've seen made in calico (or is it catmint) don't seem to have a save system. That was one of the reasons put under consideration given that this one is quite a bit longer. I suppose, one of the ways I would try to solve this on the spot would be implementing chapter select, rather than build a save system?

ooohh yeah i do have a chapter select for all my ink games (except for gutless) which is pretty handy. if i wanted to go the way of the save system and im working in inkrunner, i'd probably ask (pester) isyourguy about it
