- I brought her to see the octopus (ME) at the art museum. A BETTER SCULPTURE OF ME HAS NEVER BEEN MADE

rest of the art museum was nice! They've swapped out a few new exhibits, but the Dalis and the Picassos and Monets and Cezannes are still there, so if you want to see them you should definitely go noooooow

took her to a popular restaurant she saw on Instagram (again, it's like a constant stream of advertising being injected into this woman's brain). Ended up waiting in line for an hour. It's fine, we had fun and a nice chat. I'm not posting the restaurant, the food was mid, and the basil pesto sauce was all filler and very little pesto. She loved it though and that's all that matters

next day, we caught up with some of her friends, and I managed to snap this nice shot of our Harbour Bridge stuck in the clouds while we drove on the highway (I wasn't driving)
- BB's Bagels is new in Ponsonby, and as far as I know, they're the only ones who do mochi bagels
- the strawberry cream one was pretty good, it's freeze-dried strawberries ground to a fine dust and then mixed within the cream cheese
- my pistachio one was incredible, but I couldn't finish it. I feel like my purse is always stuffed with carefully wrapped leftover food these days
- the savoury one was the most amaziiiiing. Get the mushroom, you won't regret it
- afterwards, we went shopping and I bought my first dress ever
- been breaking in my new boots for about 3 days now and my feet hurt like heck
- not to mention I'm being severely abused because they said, "we're going to teach you how to walk right and every time you make a mistake we're going to hit you"
- my wife does not hit me, she thinks I'm too precious. She reminds me softly how I should hold my arms
- our Korean friend beats me like she beats her husband. I've never seen a woman so stereotypical of the K-drama strong wife stereotype
- ANYWAY MY ARM HURTS. I DON'T THINK NEGATIVE REINFORCEMENT IS A GOOD LEARNING MODEL FOR ME
- ended with a nice walk in the park
- spend final moments (tragic, heartbreaking) with wife before driving her to the airport
- terrible traffic amidst horrible weather on the way back added an extra hour to the journey, plenty of time to think about lost wife
