The most used raid food for this tier of FFXIV savage raid is Moqueca and it rather piqued my curiousity. So, of course I made it:

Okay, turns out I suck at plating today. Apologies for the bad photo.

You can find the recipe here! I paired it with Cilantro/Coriander Lime Rice and used a short grain as the base.

"Maddie, you're meant to use Jasmine--"

Shhhhhhh.

Shhhhh.

Mommy used a very nice Taiwanese Jade Mountain Premium Rice. Be a good girl and don't interrupt me when I'm cooking.

Over all, it's a really easy dish to make. The annoying part is mostly just individually pan-frying whatever firm white fish you're using (I used gurnard, which is kinda the only firm fish available to me at the supermarket).

I love it. I'd recommend giving it a try--the bright lime notes really is the kicker here, paired with the rich sauce.

moqueca mencionada!!! (Although I never had it before.. shame on me)
But did you used the same rice we use? Like- I don't know exactly which types of rice exist, but before I had sushi for the first time I though every rice was salty and loose (AKA the one 99% of Brazil eat).
If I was to recommend another stew-like recipe, I really think you should try making feijoada, although I don't know how easy is to find dark beans where you live..
