Here is my final clear screenshot for Cohost 😭 I enjoyed this tier a lot, the lower difficulty compared to previous ones was a welcome change of pace. Now to smash out reclears and cry

WE DID IT 😭😭😭 (I'm the second character from the left in the screenshot)

It was my desperate wish to clear before cohost ended. My first long post here was about raiding too; now things feel properly bookended.

God, I'm going to miss this website so much.

I was raiding in FFXIV and then went downstairs during break time to see everyone drinking and doing nails.

They gave me four sips of this red wine: terrible, btw. Just punches you straight at the tip of your tongue. Astringent. Bad mouthfeel. Don't recommend.

And then I went back raiding and suddenly started failing mechanics. I didn't even realize I was tipsy until my raid team pointed it out as a joke.

God, my tolerance has dropped this much? Four small sips and I'm out?

I found everything afterwards incredibly funny. I was stifling laughter the entire time during raid.

I would like to apologize to my entire team.

The most used raid food for this tier of FFXIV savage raid is Moqueca and it rather piqued my curiousity. So, of course I made it:

Okay, turns out I suck at plating today. Apologies for the bad photo.

You can find the recipe here! I paired it with Cilantro/Coriander Lime Rice and used a short grain as the base.

"Maddie, you're meant to use Jasmine--"

Shhhhhhh.

Shhhhh.

Mommy used a very nice Taiwanese Jade Mountain Premium Rice. Be a good girl and don't interrupt me when I'm cooking.

Over all, it's a really easy dish to make. The annoying part is mostly just individually pan-frying whatever firm white fish you're using (I used gurnard, which is kinda the only firm fish available to me at the supermarket).

I love it. I'd recommend giving it a try--the bright lime notes really is the kicker here, paired with the rich sauce.

first night of prog down! didn't manage to get the M1S clear - we hit Raining Cats just before we ended our session - but we're reasonably confident that we have enough damage to just entirely skip it, since we went into this session without full melds or potions. looking forward to having a mental breakdown in M2S.
