you get dragged there by an extremely autistic transfem who invites you to the arcade. you expect to play some skeeball, maybe a fighting game or two. instead she parks in front of a machine that looks like a washing machine had sex with a playstation 5 and sits there for 3 hours spinning wheels. you are both fascinated and baffled. every other machine has a similar person playing a similar baffling game.
you spend a few hours unsure whether you are there to watch her or go do something else, unsure if you bother her it'll throw off her flow, unsure if she's even aware you're there. you wander around occasionally and find a strange japanese shmup that's far too hard for you, but you play it anyways. after a while of sitting next to her on a stool you feel like you're stealing from someone who needs it, she finally asks if you're ready to go. you're unsure what caused this, but you head out.
it's one of the best experiences of your life. 10/10, no notes
