I played Waste Eater by anarchist game dev Cain. It's good! Here's my review.
I've also been progressively playing through Crisis Core: FFVII Reunion for a couple weeks, as well as daily-ish level grinds in FFXIV (I'm almost done leveling Dancer) and weekly Destiny 2 chores in anticipation of Lightfall. So far my commitment to try to cover one new game a week for the whole year has made it so that I'm not stuck focusing on any one thing for too long - a problem I had last year. Also I've been taking steps to just, like, make time for other media. I'm almost done with Fellowship of the Ring - the party is getting ready to leave Lothlórien - and I've been watching Trigun: Stampede and My Hero Academia. It's weird to say but I feel less lopsided right now. But the year is only two weeks old. Plenty of time for me to go back to being a gremlin.
