Affinity's tools are one of the best paid alternatives to Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign. They don't require a subscription and can be used across Mac, Windows and iPad with a single purchase. I frequently use both Designer and Photo and have been extremely happy with the decision to purchase a copy.
