Do you wish something else of yours was the "thing to blow up" rather than BET? Ive seen a lotta devs who have that one thing that hits mainstream wish it was something else they were more passionate about, so im curious

oh this is a good question... no, i expected BET to blow up, so i'm glad that it did. a lot of my other games have blown up in smaller ways as they find their audience, so i don't feel like they've gone woefully unnoticed or anything. mainstream success is a blessing and a curse, so if i can continue serving a more niche audience without drawing too much attention, that would be ideal for me. i'm financially stable as is, so i don't need to aspire for more than that.

Im glad! I feel like you being niche is part of the charm, all your stories just radiate passion for both your characters and the lil world you've made around them, and every game just feels like you've been dying to show it off, (which I relate to a lot haha)

(BTW im the one who asked this I just panicked and hit anon :P)

ohhh...!!!! that's exactly it!!!!!! i'm just making things that i like... i think because of that, it's harder for individual games to "make sense" enough to reach a large audience, but everyone who gives them a shot tends to enjoy them. like, i love starry flowers so much but i wouldn't want EVERYONE to play/know of that game, since it's very clearly not meant for all audiences!!!! it's comfy being niche :)
