this is completely unrelated but i found an english cover of naked requiem on youtube and the person based their lyrics on my old translation, which 1. made me want to try re-translating because i think i can do better now, and 2. should not have surprised me as much as it did, considering the eng fandom is so, SO tiny
if i try to split my online identity between indie dev and disgaea fan i've found that it just makes me feel inauthentic or that i'm not engaging in one side enough to warrant its existence (which is why i ended up locking my disgaea side-page here) when the truth is loving disgaea has always been at my core and i am always happy to talk about it
i guess i will just tag my disgaea posting so people can muffle it if they only want to hear about my games. but if you haven't played disgaea, you're missing out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
