oh that's so lovely to hear, yay! webcomics take a long time to really pay off but i think it's worth the effort. as long as you're having fun drawing it, people will have fun reading it :) i highly recommend having a consistent update schedule. posting once a week can feel really slow, but it's nice when people remember to come and read each update as part of their week... and you can build up a backlog in advance so you're not rushing to finish a page the night before. (all the december comics i've been posting for mine were drawn on the same day or two in november haha)
for comic ideas, i keep a big list of everything i think of so i can draw them when i feel like it. i have years-old premises that are finally gonna get posted next month... sometimes i go a long time without thinking of comics, but if i sit down and focus i can usually come up with something fun. since mine is based around an ensemble cast, i try to look at which characters haven't shown up in a while or if certain characters have never really interacted before, and try to come up with something based on that. having a recurring question/premise helps too (for example the "what's your type?" series)... i like doing template-type comics and seeing what comes out when the characters have room to be themselves haha
i hope these thoughts are useful to u anon, have fun with your webcomic and always remember it's ok to take breaks from time to time~
