ouughh...... renpy can oversample images now so i'm faced with the extremely tough decision of whether to re-export all of my syrup 2 busts at their original size so they will look nicer when you're playing in full screen on a high res monitor...... i think it would be worth it but it will also make the game a lot bigger if i do this for all my images........ oh god there are 457 files in this folder...................... ohhhh but i should reeeally do it sooner than later because it will be far worse if i finish the game without it and end up having to make an hd rerelease......................... OOUUGGHHHH

i would recommend... vector graphics.. apparently tiny within fractions of a megabyte .. i however do not know how they work they're magic they're so full of inconsistencies it's so weird that you can run scripts in them

I think making vector graphics of all the sprites would be too much work because, believing they're all regular raster layers, it would mean redrawing all of it
I'M NOT SURE HOW IT IS IN PHOTOSHOP BUT in clip studio, converting a raster layer to vector layer messes up whatever was originally there (or it just looks off) hence why you would have to redraw :(
