all the people plugged in enough, with strong enough convictions, are seen as pains and kept out of unofficial organizing, important meetings, and places they can influence/guilt business or organization
and on the other hand, the people most affected by the virus are kept out of platforms because they are "guilting people" into masking by saying they/family are immunocomp or otherwise at immense risk.
kneecap labor and the left in one fell swoop and starve them of examples to cite.
because the people still masking (who aren't strictly forced to to stay alive) are the only people demonstrating actual unconditional strength of conviction, and that's dangerous if you're a fan of worse times. and that they're on the leading edge of being able to gather accurate information swiftly in a changing climate.
