What is your favorite Hold Steady song that is not "The Cattle and the Creeping Things" and why?
If you've seen them live, what your favorite live song performance that they did?
oh shit, i wouldn't have probably even picked "cattle and the creeping things", is that their "no children"? the first one to come to mind is "constructive summer", but that's not a firm favorite.
i have seen them live a few times and once they had technical difficulties and had to stop "stuck between stations" because the speakers died, and they just got everyone to come in close and did "citrus", it was great.
i just listened to open door policy again and i want to change my answer, controversially, to "family farm", for the line "they're never gonna love you in that one specific way you want 'em all to love you". true shit right there
