Remember this? Here's an alt version I was extremely tempted to post. I didn't want to get in trouble for breaking the gentlequeer's agreement on very tall images, but I think I got the "read more" break working. (I hope.)

the read more break does seem to work ^^ and without the read more break, it is a little annoying, but this doesn't get into "this makes me upset" levels of tall. what makes me upset is when your post takes up, like, half of the entire timeline page because at that point it's difficult to get away from your post and see, like... everything else
Still, it was important to me to figure out how to consistently get the read more to show up for situations where you want to break in the middle of a tall image, somewhere that you can't just use the three-dashes Markdown syntax to control it. Applying almost anything in the style="" for the <img> seems to do it!
