"They have a three hour delay because Windows unexpectedly has a three hour delay" I am going to kill every computer
I mean from the description it sounds like someone wrote, sleep ( 10,000 ), and it's just been sitting there inside an if statement that was never supposed to evaluate true. But, why did someone write that ever. What possible valid use would it have. Maybe they thought it was specified in milliseconds, and this is supposed to be a 10 second wait, but what would that even be for, given that whatever it does, it's not doing it repeatedly, so it can't be trying to wait until there's no longer a name collision, it's just a one-time wait that seems to serve no purpose even if it was coded correctly
It could be a timeout? Like “wait for this event to occur” and it needed a maximum wait time and someone went “idk 10000 I guess it shouldn’t matter” and for some reason the expected Thing is never happening
i will not stop until every computer is turned back into sand
