okay, I feel like I must be half the posts on cohost today, but I'm a bit manic about this. Getting the groundwork done took a very long time but the actual renderable cutscene went from like eight seconds with janky transitions last night to a full minute today. It's about half done. We still need to see what Ismyrn, Serriden, Tsovinar, Aramaz and Ravelin are all up to before they trip and fall face-first into the plot. (No, Ravelin is not a character who appears in book 1. Yes, she's in the trailer for book 1. She has a lot of problems to get around to causing)
