test render of the finished cutscene, aside from whatever fiddling I do after letting it sit a few days. The final release will have a more professional recording situation, I just don't want to go through the OBS ritual at the moment. edit: if there's ringing in the audio it's Windows' crummy built in recording...

This is going to go at the end of the first scene when I release Glory in the Thunder as a web serial (this should just be within a few weeks!! hold me to it!! hound me like the shadows of hell!!!) right after poor Anahit, rest in pieces, undergoes spontaneous divine star removal surgery. I think "this book comes with JRPG cutscenes" should be a good enough pitch for anyone.

Tileset based on Solaria, font is Last Priestess, everything else (including the music) is by me.

also, it does kind of drop a lore bombshell that isn't otherwise mentioned anywhere in the first... thousand pages of this story. If you were a volume 3 beta reader you may be able to piece together exactly how much trouble Ravelin is going to be in when her moms find out...
