So Jerry freaking Lawson of Fairchild Channel F fame is a Google Doodle today. You know how many people are going to see this and find out who Jerry Lawson is?! As someone who's known of this guy for fifteen years, and even had his game console briefly, this has got my nerd-senses tingling. He used to be deep, deep trivia in the video game world, but now his involvement in video game history will be closer to common knowledge.
By the way, you can actually play the doodle, using Jerry Lawson as your onscreen avatar, and even construct your own stages. I haven't been this excited since the Pac-Man doodle all those years ago! This is almost as good as putting him on a postage stamp!
