I get annoyed w the bugs & extremely insular tech culture here but i at least owe cohost an apology in this regard: its not fucking bogging the tl down with ads from accounts i dont follow. Sure we all know twitter crammed an ad in ur tl every 4 or 5 posts. But i just did the homework and tumblr? Tumblr is worse. They shove an ad in your face every -3- or 4 posts.
How is anyone supposed to get any eyes on their own work like that?! Users burn out scrolling too quickly to even see if you posted something unless either they a) go to ur blog specifically or b) ur posting NON FUCKIN STOP
(For the record it looks like instagram has the least ads of the corporate hellsites, with them showing up every 3-7 posts)
So at least cohost isnt literally a step backwards from fuckin twitter
