So, I was driving down the highway this morning, to drop the huz off @ the airport (a whole diff story), and my check-engine light came on. After mentally telling myself the "I checked, the engine is there" joke, I thought about what might be causing the problem. I had noticed the gas tank was almost full, and I hadn't filled it up last, so perhaps the gas cap hadn't been put on tightly? (this was the reason the last time this light turned on). So, I checked, and yeah, it felt slightly loose when I futzed with it in the loading zone @ SEATAC, but the light didn't turn off (of course it didn't).

So, I learned where the Honda dealership of Burien was, and stopped in to say hi to the nice gents in the service department. They checked the computer which agreed with me, and reassured me that the light doesn't go off for a day or so (because of course it doesn't). They didn't charge me anything, and sent me on my way, which I appreciated a ton.

In short, it's lunch time, I'm home, just getting my coffee, and am absolutely brain-zapped from problem-solving on the fly while ignoring climbing anxiety levels. blech.
