tldr: sewing pattern links are at the bottom of this text!

A friend of mine was on Mastodon, musing that they wished they had a Blåhaj that was made in trans colors, a while ago. I am, of course, painfully easy to intrigue into crafts projects, so that evening I started looking around for a sewing pattern, and then for a Sacrificial Shark, to begin to make this muse a reality.

A kind friend gifted me a shark (smaller size), which I immediately began to dissect in service of understanding how they went together.

This quickly moved on to referencing and drawing a new sewing pattern, sewing a test stuffie... picking on my cat with the test stuffie... and finally, the Full On Making of a "tri-color" shark.

But, that's not all! I've got a whole queue of friends who deserve, or have requested (or both!), a shark! So, before I get going on my new shark assembly-line, I thought I'd get my pattern and instructions together, so that others can join me in making people happy with stuffed sea life!

Here Are The Pattern Instructions

Please enjoy, but note that this was made in my spare time, for non-commercial personal use. I am making no money, here, just sharing the love! If you make a shark, tell me about it! Here, or on mastodon at @nothe@notacult.social ! Or just shout your joy to the skies, I'm not the boss of you.

PS: for my proof-readers, I'd like to note that I am FINally finished! ;) 🦈🏳️‍🌈🤍💙💗

FYI your images aren't appearing for me in the post. If I visit the direct URLs they work, but they don't seem to like being embedded!

Edit: It seems like the issue is that your site does not support https but cohost (or my browser?) is forcing the image URLs to load over https.

ah, thanks for figuring out the difference! I have waved this fact under my husband's nose, since he's the one who does the admin-ing, but as the URL's are specified as http URLs, I'm gonna go out on a limb & say it's probably a security setting in your browser forcing them to try for the https: version? Getting our host updated is on his list of things to do, though!! :)
