This happens every month or two, I'll find Something I just HAVE to have, and bake it. This month is was pancakes (an easy one but neither of us really consume much dairy, so having milk/cream/buttermilk in the house is relatively rare). I bought actual buttermilk, pancakes were cooked and consumed, (and toaster-oven reheated again, this morning ;)). But I had like... 1.5c of buttermilk left. What to do, what to do... the obvious answer was, of course, BISCUITS! I overshot the, er, liquidyness of the batter, but some more flour gently worked in on the counter seems to have resolved the issue, and they came out beautifully :D
