Okay. So, since it seems like people here are from tumblr/familiar with tumblr, I just. Question that may make me look very silly, I guess. xP
Pages here are like sideblogs there, yeah? How similar is it, exactly? (Like, from a very brief look at another user's secondary page(?? how are they referred to on here? xD) it doesn't look like you can send asks to them, only their main page. & that seems ... odd, to me.) 🤔
There's no real distinction between main/secondary pages, they all can do the same things as each other. You can follow, like, comment, and send asks from every page you have separately. If you switch to another page in the top right menu, you'll only see posts from people you've followed with that page.
Asks have to be manually turned on for every page, it's likely that on the sideblog you saw the person in question just forgot/didn't want to.
