EDIT: Looks like previews at least somewhat work, as in you'll get the first bit of text and an attached image. No idea about multi image posts or longer text posts, I assume it cuts around 140 characters. Don't really care enough to test past that but this was pointed out to me so now it's here for you too. Despite the preview, clicking still takes you to a login page.

At some point that got warped into 'instead of just telling you this thing I said/did/made, I'm going to link the tweet' and like, maybe just paste the thing around instead?

Cohost gets a pass because you don't normally need a login and it actually allows formatting that most chat clients do not. You can't dump css crimes right into discord.

EDIT: And while I'm bitching about bluesky, the concept of "oh if we don't give invite codes to bad people, they won't end up here" is fucking hilarious (derogatory) and utter foolishness. Large platforms putting the burden of site moderation onto the end user is done purely for money saving purposes; less money spent trying to moderate the site, more money gained serving ads to horrible people or those who don't mind being surrounded by them.
