my gut says no because the constant offbeat pattern that is so characteristic of ska and ska punk isn't super compatible with the rhythmic irregularity so characteristic of math rock
yeah I'm torn between the expectation that it would be aggressively unpleasant to listen to and the feeling that ska is a perfect genre for band geeks turned math majors so someone should have tried it
your best bet would probably be Rx Bandits, they are a band that transitioned from playing ska punk into something math rock adjacent. The albums "and the Battle begun" and "The Resignation" have elements of both, though calling these ska albums is a stretch. But there's math and ska on there. Other than that there's proggy ska bands, but not much with actual math-y elements I can think of from the top of my head. Maybe the unhingedness of Blue Meanies' "Full Throttle" could be confused for mathcore if you squint
