which coincidentally happened to also be the first bon apatie recipe I've made since moving lmao.

I'd describe it as a like,,, butter ratking. a tangled mass of noodles soaked in butter and vegimite, matted together by cheese. the flavor is so, so monochromatic. it's basically umami (from the vegimite) smothered by umami (from the butter) with a hint of salty (from the cheese). that's it. maybe if I got really good cheese and used more that would cut through, but it would also add to the grease.

I'm used to cooking from the New York Times cooking section and tonight reminded me how spoiled I am by them. This dish was the polar opposite from what I am used to cooking; greasy, unhealthy, uninspired, dull, and something that produced a fucking mess

phew

it is nice to note that the worst meal i've cooked in four months is still one that was decent enough, edible, and filling. I'm good at cooking and it's still not something im used to lol

  • 2 tbs of vegimite
  • 1 cup of cheese
