the point was raised that the department our program is under does not have any data science/visualization in the slightest, apparently all the metrics are just like tracked in a patchwork fashion and people holding things in their head. appalling.
so if my dashboard for our program ends up showing results and being worth the time then we're going to go to the department head with that and see if I can like,,, get a few extra hours a week to do data stuff. long time listeners may recognize this as me being "back on my bullshit" and this as "a bad idea you already work too much wtf" but also,,,, resume fodder and money,,,
honestly though I've done a good job, the team has done a good job, so now this role is way way way less demanding than it used to be. I'm finding myself bored which is wild haha
but yeah it's fucking so exciting even having people consider that possibility
