omggg my supervisor set up a meeting with us and some IT people to get me PowerBI (a data visualization tool) and akdjfnla apparently the "IT people" were actually coordinators for the data science team and the meeting very quickly took on the energy of a network event / interview. My supervisor talked me up so much and the coordinators were impressed by what I did with the extremely rough data I was handed
They're gonna send me a buuuunch of tools, access to a special server, and are going to keep in touch as a resource while I build something amazing for my team.
This isn't a foot in the door to me moving over into data science, it's a whole fucking leg haha
I'm being given developer tools and a direct line to the heads of the data science team who want to help me learn how to use them. I'm fucking pogging so hard rn
