While biking home I fell into a group of five or so other bike commuters going my way who were much more assertive than I was. The joy of actually having an entire lane to ourselves, pushing cars out of the way, instead of fearfully fighting for a tiny strip between the moving cars and the parked cars, was so refreshing that I got distracted and ended up twenty minutes off course because I just kept following them lol

It's the exact same feeling I get whenever I'm in public with more than one other trans woman

Anyways. I'm terminally unable to backtrack whenever I get lost so I kinda just Kept Going

ended up cutting through probably the nicest park I've ever seen in the city, took a break by the dog park to people watch, before following an impressively nice bike trail back to pick up my usual route

Fucking, great time, I felt spent and sunkissed in the best way possible. Unfortunately I also feel exhausted and sunburnt but hey coins have two sides ya know

Oh!! Yes the Schuylkill trail! I've only been to one segment of it that was incredibly busy and I almost hit someone's tiny dog they were walking. I definitely need more control over the bike before I can handle that
