Interacting with Christianity as it just being a continuation of my special interest in Roman history is extremely the funniest way to engage with a faith ever

I'm not celebrating Christmas, I'm celebrating what we call Christmas but what is actually just the romanized version of the Feast of Sol Invictus, a holiday created by the first trans woman to ever order a fascist death squad to purge her enemies from power

Lmao would love to

The emperor who created The Feast of Sol Invictus (unconquered sun), which is the holiday that Constantine would later turn into Christmas, is often pointed to by historians as a historical example of what we would call a trans woman (he frequently went by "queen of Rome" and was quoted as saying "any physician who can render me onto the other sex will have as reward all the gold in the Roman treasury" which mood)

He still went by he/him and absolutely did not go "hi I am a trans woman" since ya know different culture they had different frameworks, but he absolutely had gender dysphoria and absolutely would have transitioned nowadays

He also ya know led a militaristic imperialist empire (only for a few years, Romans were fine with homosexuality but not with effeminacy)

His name was Elagabalus if you wanna read more!
