i saw that a public API is in the works (as of like, late 2022 or something) but understandably not a major priority; nevertheless, some folks have been doing cute lil crimes and projects with the API for internal use

what's the "best" (understanding that the best might not be all that objectively good) way of doing that right now? i did see that there's a solid looking python wrapper on github, but curious what else is out there. been feeling the itch to make weird artsy lil bots again c:

hiiii doing my regular run through of the cohost dev tag. there's a page on cohost support about third party tools for cohost that has a pretty good list of libraries to use!!

(i created and help maintain a python library cohost.py but other options are available)
