There's a trend now of people posting "this is my Roman Empire" (in response to that trend about how men think of the Roman Empire every day or whatever) and every time I see it I get momentarily excited that I'm going to learn about some regional historical civilization that I wasn't aware of, but then it's always like a scene from a sitcom or some shit. weak
well when I say "this is my Roman Empire" I mean in the sense that I, personally, am the supreme ruler (the owner, if you will) of the actual historical Roman Empire and I am showing its wonders to you as a magnanimous gesture (and, frankly, in the hope that you will be so cowed, so awed by its majesty that you will realise it is better to join us in victory than to futilely stand against us)
