healthcare bureaucrat in philly, v adhd, orthodox jew, ect ect, im love my wife

really cool that the Adderall shortage, followed by the subsequent Vyvanse shortage, has forced me onto a third line that has left me nauseous for three months straight. really cool that my options are this, or spending months trying to switch to something that is probably worse

woke up today feeling fine and I thought, oh my body has finally adjusted this is great, only to realize that actually what happened was I forgot to take my meds last night

I take it at night because the side effects are worse for the first few hours. so I had to choose between my body feeling okay, or being an Effective Worker today. of course I took my meds, gotta feed capital after all the, shareholders put so much on the line to open this hospital I have to reward them, so now I'm at work in a lot of pain. yay! it's so cool that they just, stopped making the medicine that works and helps and is cheap because they're isn't any money in making a generic that is popular and effective, im soo glad the market realized the value inherent in pushing us onto newer and more expensive alternatives, yay. my stomach hurts for the greater good

Going through something similar myself!

"your meds keep getting contaminated with nitrates because we're too cheap to do chemistry right so we're taking them off the market"

Could you just do the chemistry better? The other ones give me terrible side effects.

"No, that costs way more than just not making them anymore. Good luck!"
