healthcare bureaucrat in philly, v adhd, orthodox jew, ect ect, im love my wife

the centralstation of my city has the subway and an elevated light rail transfer point as well as all of the westbound trolleys. every day I transfer from the subway to the train. the trolleys are nicer, but only one of the routes goes near my house and it only shows up like once every 15 minutes instead of the once every 7 minutes of the train

Well! I realized a few weeks back that although only one trolley line goes near my house, all of them have a divergent point that's not too much further east, if I use my bike it's negligibly further away.

so now instead of waiting for that one line I can take any trolley that pulls in, and oh boy there's a trolley coming into the station like once every minute lol, I've yet to have to wait for a transfer it rules. people who don't commute by public transit likely can't understand the relief that comes from saying "I don't have to wait for a transfer" but it's like saying "I found a route without traffic" or "I never have to worry about parking" it's great

well. yesterday I discovered that uh, actually there is one trolley line that leaves the station that doesn't share that mutual divergent point, it diverts really soon into it's route and,,, goes north, and uh I did not notice for quite some time. ended up having to walk half an hour back before being able to pick up a different trolley hhhh rip lmao learned my lesson
